Good news for the European Tap dance- and the World Show dance enthusiasts.
Although the IDO event “European Tap Dance Championship and World Show dance Cups 2012” in Krsko, Slovenia have been given back from the organizer due to organizational problems, this event will take place!

As you see it is back on the IDO website.

Thank you very much indeed, “Hvala Lepa!” to Fiona Johnson-Kocjancic’ (President IDO Slovenia) and “Mille grazie!” to Edilio Pagano, (President IDO-Italy) who worked very hard to make it possible for the event being run during the national FIDS Italian Dance sport Championships in the most exciting FIERA RIMINI, in Rimini, Italy at the Adriatic coast and sandy beaches.
All IDO dancers wanting to participate should thank both of them and enroll NOW!

The IDO is aware that the timeframe between this information and the event is rather short. We also are aware that some countries have their nationals that weekend and cannot attend – and we know that many tap dancers plan to travel to the USA in summer, to participate at Nancy Chippendale’s great tap dance festival and workshops in Andover near Boston, USA – but we are convinced that many other dancers are waiting for this European Tap Championships and World Show dance Cup to take place and would love to compete!

Therefore we do ask all federations to forward this positive information to the tap dance departments if they live European countries and all IDO federations to the show dance departments all over the dance world of IDO as soon as possible!
If there are any questions please contact the organizer, EDILIO PAGANO and enroll your dancers soon.

I have been at the FIERA RIMINI two years ago with a great IDO HipHop-Battle’s event. I is an overwhelming professionally organized event in several halls and venues – and you also may enjoy the warm waters of the Adriatic Beach in Rimini or party at the beach at night.
